Combining Colors
When I first saw this card box there was just one thought that went through my mind-what a creative mixture of colors! Putting plum, orange and pink together is not a traditional combination, but when you look at it you can see just how well it works. Snowflake Sensation
Well, the cold weather is finally here…I’m not sure about you, but I’ve already trekked through a bit of slush this week. When I think about snowflakes thought, I have to remind myself that even though they make my commute tricky, they can make a party pretty fun! Going Ombre
Ok, if you haven’t been introduced to it yet, allow me to present my newest fashion obsession, ombre! This designer trend involves dying fabrics (beautiful silks and soft blends lend themselves best) so that the color gradually increases from light to dark throughout the garment. I just LOVE it! Especially as shown in these romantic flowing dresses, the effect is eye-catching and super feminine. I can’t wait until the weather warms up and I can grab myself one of these little numbers…in the meantime, maybe an ombre sweater is order? Who knows..

Elegant Ivory

Purple and Silver
So, I’ve made it pretty clear that I just love the color purple; it was my absolute fave as a little girl and the accent color for my own wedding. I paired in with emerald green, but it is just as stunning when lined up next to silver. Sequin Skirts
Yay, New Years Eve is coming-and to me that means I can wear something super sparkly and fun that might not be so appropriate throughout the rest of the year…enter the sequin skirt! I love it! Before I start this post, I want to preface it by saying that I normally don’t post personal information of situations on this blog because I figure that our clients and colleagues don’t need to know what’s going on in our lives, just our business. However I must make an exception today. I apologize for the long post. It’s important for you to read it all.
I am crying as I write this post:
About a month ago, I received word that my first cousin, a stunning, vivacious women in her mid 30s, was diagnosed with breast cancer. My family of course was devastated but hopeful. Since then, every week we find out that the cancer has spread to more and more of her body. The cancer she has is a very rare form of cancer that seems to spread like wildfire. This whole situation has left us all stunned.
So, since I am who I am, i’m devising any way I can help. I cannot cure her, I cannot make her better. But I can help her fulfill a longtime dream..something on her “Kick The Bucket List”.
My cousin has always wanted to visit Israel. She is a very spiritual person, not so much religious but she’s always been curious about religion and spirituality. Now that she has been given this news, her one wish is to be able to visit Israel for Passover this year…A pilgrimage of sorts. A fund has been set up to collect donations to help her do just that.
