Marni Gold - Owner and Designer of Creative Custom Card Boxes
Marni Gold, Owner and Designer of Creative Custom Card Boxes, came to the wedding and party business in a slightly different way than many. Marni is a trained singer and experienced voice teacher (training comes before experience!). She studied opera and musical theater in college, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Central Florida. Marni’s performance career took her to Germany, England and Italy, where she was inspired to share her passion for music through teaching. She attained her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix, taught at Ridgefield H.S in Ridgefield NJ and Wilkinson M.S. in Jersey City, NJ and now enjoys teaching private voice lessons at a music school in New Jersey. Creative Custom Card Boxes began when Marni was planning her own wedding in 2008. She was searching for a unique and secure way to store gifts and cards at the wedding reception. Frustrated with the gaudy, tacky or just plain expensive options she came across, she along with her mom Linda Protovin, with years of decor and entertaining experience, finally created an eco- friendly custom card box that was simple, elegant, and understated while still corresponding with the wedding colors and theme.
