Our Bride Vanessa got married on Saturday night and our friends at Celeste Studios were kind enough to send us a few sneak peek pictures in this lovely video slideshow!

Real Wedding Wednesday – Dana & Steve

It was so fun to make a lovely understated Creative Custom Card Box for Dana & Steve’s wedding! Their wedding reception took place at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale, NJ, which holds a special place in my heart because it is where Aaron and I got married!

Their photographers, David and Amy Lau took some fabulous shots of the wedding and we’re happy to feature a few here on the blog!

Cathy Scerbo of For Your Event Planning came to us to create a special Creative Custom Card Box for her Damask and Yellow wedding coming up. She wanted us to incorporate the damask fabric she was using in the decor of the event and of course we were up for the challenge. Here are some pictures taken by the lovely Cathy of the bride and groom and the gorgeous Card Box we designed and hand crafted for the happy couple!

A Union of Two Sports Stars Accented by a Collaboration Between 3 Talented Wedding Vendors: Creative Custom Card Boxes, Celeste Designs, and Customized Wedding Creations

The following is a recap of the wedding from various accounts including the Bride herself!

It was a warm, sunny and beautiful day in Bossier City, Louisiana. The wedding and reception were held together to accomodate the 450 attendes at this wedding that was the talk of the town!
There were plenty of well known athletes in attendance and in the wedding party including;

Groomsman Super Bowl champ Brandon Jacobs-Running Back for the NY Giants

Groomsman Byron Santiago -Former Green Bay Packer LB

Guests inclueded:

Minnesota Vikings Kevin Williams 4x Pro Bowler, Defensive End

Green Bay Packers Alfred Malone, Defensive End

Green Bay Packers Michael Montgomery, Defensive End

Former Green Bay Packer, Offensive Line Backer, Kenny Pettway

Former Houston Texan Running Back, Chris Taylor

And many of the champion Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters Basketball team

The wedding colors were a vibrant tangerine and pool blue and the room was beautifully decorated with splashes of color everywhere! These colors were seen through out the decor of the ceremony and reception and were used in the designs of the Wedding Card Box by Creative Custom Card Boxes, the stationery designed by Celeste Designs, and the custom monogrammed aisle runner by Customized Wedding Creations.

The bride and groom looked absolutely regal as they walked down the aisle decorated by a handpainted and embellished Custom Aisle Runner by Customized Wedding Creations. The wedding party had 24 in total as well as 14 junior bridesmaids and groomsmen!

Here is some of the music that played a special part in the ceremony.

Recessional “The Lady, Her Lover and Her Lord”

The reception began with the couple’s first dance to Keyisha Cole’s “You Complete Me”. Guests oogled over all of the beautiful stationery by Celeste Designs.

Gifts were deposited for safe-keeping in a gorgeous hand painted and embellished 3 tier Wedding Card Box by Creative Custom Card Boxes. This one of a kind card box was hand-painted in pool blue and accented with white and tangerine ribbons as well as a custom monogram tag created by Celeste Designs.

The reception lasted into the evening and was a wonderful celebration of love!

About the Bride

Shantrell Jamique Moore was born and raised in Minden, Louisiana and played basketball all through high school. She attended Louisiana Tech for undegrad, where she was a superstar for the champion Lady Techsters. She was 2007 Conference Player of the Year and went on to play in Europe before deciding it wasn’t the direction she wanted to pursue. She enjoys working with children and is in the process of establishing Day Cares in Tx and La. Her mother, Tomorrow Moore two grandmothers, Mrs. Dorothy Moore and Mrs.Thelma Bentley and her big family were all a very important part of the big day! Her two brothers, Davarea Moore and Jamera Moore escorted her down the aisle.

About the Groom
Tramon Vernall Williams is from Napoleonville, Louisiana. He has an older brother named Ted. Tramon also attended Louisiana Tech for undergrad and was a football superstar as a walk on! Since graduation he was signed with the Houston Texans and later signed with the Green Bay Packers on Shantrell’s birthday, November 25, 2006. He played for the Green Bay Packers as #38 Cornerback. Tramon is known as a rising star in the league.

Real Weddings – Phyllis and Tommy

We had the pleasure to attend Phyllis and Tommy’s wedding at the Brooklake Country Club, in Florham Park, NJ on April 26, 2009. Phyllis is one of our first custom cardbox customers and we were so happy to be included in such a beautiful day!

The sun was shining as the couple exchanged vows against the backdrop of a beautiful expanse of green spring grass and a fountain.

The navy blue and gold theme was first implemented in the simple and elegant programs.

The bride and groom as they exchanged their vows!

Their Navy and Gold 1 tier Creative Custom Card box elegantly displayed.

It was overall a wonderful day and we were glad to be a part of it!
